We got an exclusive first look at Indy’s newest spot, and here’s everything you need to know before you head in. Clayton’s Country Bar officially opens its doors Friday, September 5th through Sunday, September 7th, bringing a true honky tonk experience to the heart of downtown Indianapolis.

Who’s Behind Clayton’s Country Bar

Clayton’s Country Bar is the brainchild of Clayton Anderson, Steve Wentland, and Itamar Cohen. Their vision? To bring the Nashville honky tonk atmosphere home to Indiana, complete with live country music, themed drinks, and a one-of-a-kind welcoming vibe.

Clayton’s isn’t just another downtown bar — it’s packed with unique features and fun details:

• A “Show Me Your Fish” wall, where guests can bring in their own fishing pictures and add them to the collection.
• Slushy machines, themed cocktails, and a menu filled with fixins like fried pickles, handhelds, pizzas and more! 
• A design and atmosphere inspired by the honky tonks of Nashville, built for live music, dancin', and good times.
