This hat is inspired by the act of hewing a piece of timber into a more refined and usable squared off shape. Hewing is a process that requires skill, hand-craft and hard work. So here’s to all the lumberjacks who floated logs down rivers like the Mississippi and Missouri to lumber mills where loggers who milled the beams and the individuals who used them to shape the Midwest over 100 years ago.
